Partial swaps on dashboard
The Swaps & Covers portlet on the dashboard now accounts for partial swaps. Previously, the entire shift time was displayed on the dashboard, even if a partial swap was selected. Now, the actual swap times will show in the case of a partial swap.
VIP Report filters
For customers using VIP/Reward Points, the VIP Report now has a filter option to filter by employee, member type and status.
Notify employees from PTO approval confirmation screen
After accepting a PTO request and confirming you want to remove the employee from the shift, you now have the option to notify other employees of the newly opened shift.
New Form Permission Level
At the request of one of our valued customers, we’ve added a new Form Permission level, Level 6, which allows only administrators to create, view, edit and delete submissions. This permission level will come in handy for organizations that want to make certain forms accessible only to administrators.
Fractional Points in Attendance Module
For customers using the Attendance Points module or who have a need to track points incurred for punch exceptions, eSchedule can now accrue fractional points. For example, if an employee punches in late by more than 15 minutes, you can now assign ½ point for the late-in occurrence.
eSchedule Mobile App Update
We are excited to share that we are planning to start beta testing the app this month! If you are part of the beta group expect to see an email soon.
The first release of the app will be focused on a few key features: dashboard view, very basic scheduling and notifications.
From a scheduling standpoint, as an end user, you can view your schedule, your organization’s schedule, and bid on shifts. As an administrator, you can also sign employees on to the schedule.
On the dashboard all users can view system messages, their upcoming schedule, upcoming events, swaps/covers, PTO requests, bids and certifications. Everyone can also receive push notifications for administrator messages and automatic notifications, such as shift sign-on, shift swap, and shift bid notifications. Within the app, you can also access and update your profile, change your password, access help and navigate to the eSchedule web app.
Looking to the future, subsequent releases of the app will add additional scheduling functionality along with time off requests and timekeeping functionality.
