Recent Enhancements

Open Shifts Report

We are excited to share we have created a new Open Shifts Report for the mobile app, adding another, easy way find and bid, or sign on to, on open shifts.  Check out the Quick Tips video to learn more!

Updated Menu

With the addition of the Open Shifts Report, we have updated the lefthand menu in the mobile app.  We added a Schedule menu that now includes View Schedule, My Schedule, Open Shifts and Submit Availability.

Dark Mode Compatibility

We are happy to share we have added dark mode capabilities to the app.  The appearance of the app will automatically change when the phone is set to dark mode, making the app easier to use in low light environments.

Events on My Schedule

Just as they can be shown in the My Schedule view on the eSchedule website, Events that users are enrolled in will now appear in My Schedule in the mobile app.

Equipment Tracking

The Equipment Tracking module was updated to properly adjust the quantity available when the return date is added or removed.

Events Calendar – Mobile App

We are happy to share we have added the Events Calendar to the mobile app!  Users can now view events on the Events Calendar and sign up to attend certain events, like training classes and staff meetings.

Select All Option in Events Calendar

Based on terrific feedback from our valued customers, Administrators now have the ability to select (and deselect) all when adding members to an event in the Events Calendar on the eSchedule website.

Enhanced Swap Board – Mobile App

We are excited to share we have added the enhanced swap board functionality as an option in the mobile app.  The enhanced swap board allows users to submit a swap, cover, or ‘swap or cover’ request to a group of members.  By comparison, the basic swap board allows users to only submit a cover request to a group.

If you would like to turn on the enhanced swap board, please submit a case to our support team, through the Help menu and Open Support Case or email us at support@goeschedule.com.

Adjust Time Clock in Payroll Report

For Time Clock customers that use divisions, an update has been made to the payroll process, eliminating the need to use Adjust Time Clock when running your payroll report for each division.

Adjust Time Clock will now run automatically in the background when a division is selected and eSchedule will automatically apply the appropriate divisional rules.

We plan to apply similar changes to the timecards in the future, further simplifying the payroll process for our customers with division-based pay rules.

Weekly Spreadsheet View Update

Also based on excellent feedback from a valued customer, we have ‘frozen’ the top date row in the Weekly Spreadsheet (and Weekly Spreadsheet – BETA) View, allowing customers to always see the days and dates along the top even when scrolling down the page.

eSchedule Messages From/Date – Mobile App

Based on great feedback from our customers, we have added the name of the message sender and the date of the message (instead of ‘X number of days ago’) in the eSchedule messages in the mobile app.

Sounds for Notifications – Mobile App

Also based on terrific feedback from our customers, we have updated the app to ensure all notifications will be accompanied by a sound, when enabled in a user’s device settings.

Department on Payroll Report

For timekeeping customers, we can now include the user department in the payroll report.  If you would like to add this option, please submit a support request case or email us at support@goeschedule.com.

Weekly Schedule View – 2 Week Option

There is now an option to display 2 weeks in the Weekly Spreadsheet schedule view.  The first week displays above, and the second week would display below the first week.  If you would like us to update your Weekly Spreadsheet view to include 2 weeks, please contact us!

Automatic Shift Notes for Covers

Just as system-generated shift notes are added to shift swaps in the schedule, shift notes will now automatically be added to shifts have that have been covered by another member.

Fourteen Day Workweek for Semi-Monthly

For timekeeping customers with semi-monthly pay periods, a fourteen day workweek can now be configured for overtime calculation purposes.

Day of the Week in Open Shift Notifications

The day of the week now displays in open shift notifications, making it easier for members to know when there are open shifts on the schedule.
