Text Messaging is Live!
Text Message Log
For customers who use the premium text messaging service, administrators can access the new Text Message Log from the Administration menu to view the status of messages sent.
We are happy to share that the new premium text messaging service is live as of July 1st!
As communicated in previous messages, cell phone carriers are unfortunately routinely blocking email-to-text messages now. To ensure our customers still have the option to send texts, we have launched the new premium texting service. This service is billed at a rate of 1 cent per message received, with a $20 monthly minimum.
We have also made a significant investment in building out the internal eSchedule Mobile app messaging, which is a free, fast and reliable alternative to the paid text messaging service.
When you send internal eSchedule messages they are delivered almost instantly as push notifications to users who have the mobile app installed on their phones. Automatic notifications are also delivered as push notifications, so everyone is kept up-to-date on open shifts, and bid, swap and PTO requests.
Both the premium text messagingand the free internal eSchedule messaging are great communications options. If you’d like to sign up for the text messaging service, please reach out to us at support@goeschedule.com.
